Reader’s Choice Poll – October 2013
The last of the horror-themed stories has clawed its way to the top of the gore heap that is our October issue. Now it’s your turn to sift through the carnage and decide which story deserves your fear and/or favor … whichever is more important to you.
The Reader’s Choice Poll for October 2013 is located below. Remember, it’s a special horror-only issue, so we’re looking for the stories that scared you the most, or at least made you grip the mouse a little tighter as you scrolled through. Here are links to the eligible stories, to refresh your mind:
Finale in Blue, by Alexandra Grunberg
Too Much Sleep, by Brendan Verville
The Most Qualified Applicant, by Kathy Charles
Blood or Black Tears, by Jennifer Loring
Windows, by Ben Pienaar
Best Friends Forever, by Josie Beecher
Something in Our House, by D.W. Gillespie
Buried Secrets, by Gary Cecil
Not Forgotten, by Jay Seate
Now, vote! The poll will stay open for a week, through November 5. And look for us to return to our old format next month, namely a strong mix of science fiction and fantasy, with just a little horror sprinkled on top occasionally. Don’t forget that all these stories, plus a bonus story by our guest judge, Michael Collings, is available in the ebook issue on Kindle and Smashwords.
